GB/T 3836 is China’s national standard series for electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres, aligned part-for-part with the international IEC 60079 series (3836.1 general requirements ↔ 60079-0; 3836.2 flameproof “d” ↔ 60079-1; 3836.3 increased safety “e” ↔ 60079-7; 3836.31 dust protection “t” ↔ 60079-31). The 2021 edition uses the same zones, gas groups, temperature classes, and Ex marking grammar as IEC practice, so a marking like Ex db eb IIC T4 Gb reads identically under both systems. Compliance is certified by accredited Chinese bodies with verifiable certificate numbers. Sunjoylight’s SJFB explosion-proof series is certified under GB/T 3836-2021, certificate ZJEx25.1185.
