LED Driver
The LED driver is the power-conversion electronics that turn mains AC into the regulated DC current LEDs require — and it is the component most likely to define a fixture’s real-world reliability. Specification points that matter: input range (AC100–277 V wide-input covers most world grids; 277–480 V variants serve North American industrial supplies), constant-current regulation quality, power factor (≥ 0.9 expected in industrial product), surge immunity, operating-temperature rating, and dimming interface (0–10V, DALI, timer profiles). Driver lifetime is governed by electrolytic-capacitor temperature, which is why thermal placement inside the fixture matters as much as the brand on the label. Replaceable-driver designs simplify maintenance economics on large sites.
