0–10V Dimming (0-10V)

0–10V is the simplest widely deployed dimming interface: a two-wire analog control pair on the driver, where 10 V commands full output and lower voltages dim proportionally down to a defined minimum. Its virtues are universality and simplicity — occupancy sensors, photocells, and building controllers from any vendor can drive it — making it the default for warehouse sensor zones and daylight harvesting rows. Its limits: one-way control (no status feedback), group behavior defined by wiring rather than software, and modest precision at the bottom of the range. Where individually addressable fixtures, scene logic, or monitoring are required, DALI or networked controls take over.
