UFO High Bay

The UFO high bay is the compact circular LED format that has become the default industrial high-ceiling fixture: a finned die-cast aluminum body doubling as heat sink, a single round lens array, and a hook or bracket mount. Its virtues are density and simplicity — 100–300 W and beyond from a unit a fraction of the size of legacy HID gear, installable by one person on existing suspension points, making it the standard one-for-one retrofit for 250–400 W metal halide. Round symmetric distributions (typically 60°/90°/120°) suit open floors and general storage; long narrow aisles with tall racking are often better served by linear formats or aisle optics.
