Canopy Light

A canopy light is a low-profile, surface- or recess-mounted LED fixture for the ceilings of petrol station forecourts, drive-throughs, toll plazas and loading docks — spaces with limited height where vehicles pass directly beneath. The duty writes the spec: a compact sealed body (IP65-class) that shrugs off wind-driven rain, fumes and washing; a wide, well-shielded distribution that lights pump islands and vehicle lanes evenly without glaring into drivers’ eyes; and vibration-tolerant construction for structures that flex. Forecourt projects also carry a hazardous-area layer: areas immediately around dispensers and vents are typically classified zones needing appropriately certified equipment, while the general canopy area outside those boundaries is served by ordinary sealed fixtures — the site’s zoning drawing, not habit, decides which fixture hangs where.
