What is the brightest LED flood light you make?
The SJTG610 flagship scales to 1200W, the highest single-fixture output in our range. But "brightest" is better answered with a measurement than a wattage: our 200W-class unit measured 35,309 lm at 201.3 W on a distributed goniophotometer, with a peak intensity of 34,444 cd — which at 8 m mounting delivers roughly 538 lux directly beneath the fixture. What is a high lumen LED flood light, and what output should I expect per watt?
A high-lumen flood light is one whose measured whole-fixture output — not summed LED chip figures — is high relative to its input power. Our range runs 120–160 lm/W across the series, and the tested 200W unit measured 175.4 lm/W on the complete fixture. The distinction matters commercially: chip-lumen arithmetic typically overstates real fixture output by 10–20%, so always compare measured LM-79-style whole-fixture data rather than catalogue claims.
Are LED flood lights energy efficient compared with metal halide?
Substantially. LED flood lights typically draw 50–70% less power for equivalent delivered light, because directional optics put lumens on the target instead of into the sky, and there is no restrike delay or ballast loss. Our tested 200W unit returned an EEI of 0.081 (energy class A++) with a measured power factor of 0.986 — power factor matters because a poor one inflates apparent load and heats wiring across a multi-fixture installation. Adding motion or photocell control on top typically cuts consumption again on low-traffic positions.
Are your LED flood lights dimmable?
Yes — dimmable drivers are configured at order stage, with 0-10V and DALI protocols available depending on the series, plus photocell and motion-sensor options. Specify the control protocol with the order: retrofitting a dimmable driver into a sealed IP65 flood body afterwards means opening the fixture and its gasket, which is both a labour cost and an ingress risk.
Do you make solar flood lights as well?
Yes. Our solar flood range spans 50W to 500W across two families — SJTG620S with a remote panel, so the head can aim at a sign or facade while the panel faces the sun, and SJTG621S, a slim aluminium projector for larger areas. They suit positions where trenching a cable costs more than the light: yard corners, gates, billboards, flagpoles, perimeters and farm buildings. Panel and battery are sized to your location's worst-month sun-hours rather than a universal runtime figure.
