Above 12 m, ordinary high bays run out of reach: the 400W class exists for automated high-bay stores, steel and heavy-industry halls, hangars, and indoor arenas where light must arrive at the floor from 12–20 m with enough intensity left to meet industrial targets. Fixture count drops, but each fixture works harder — making thermal design and beam choice the whole specification.
Two SJGK housings are built for this duty: the riveted-fin SJGK903 with electroplated corrosion resistance, and the modular-fin SJGK905 — a 650 mm platform engineered for stadium, ballpark and mining-hall applications. Both ship with the IES/LDT files the photometric layout needs.

What ceiling height needs a 400W LED high bay?
From about 12 m upward. Between 9–12 m, 200–300W with the right optic is usually more economical; the 400W class earns its place where automated stores, industrial halls and arenas mount at 12–20 m and lower wattages simply cannot deliver floor-level targets.
What does a 400W LED high bay replace?
The traditional 1000W metal halide high bay — at less than half the load. In arena and hall retrofits the LED swap also removes the restrike delay that made HID unusable after power dips.
